Lean Shamrock Shake

Shamrock shakes were a childhood staple for me. Obviously, knowing what I know now, I no longer drink the addictive peppermint nectar of the McDonald’s Messiahs…but just because I eat healthy doesn’t mean I can’t ever enjoy the flavors of a peppermint shake. I’ve taken life into my own hands, and created the most delicious, lean, fat loss friendly shamrock shake. I dare you to try this recipe, and tell me it isn’t delicious….

Lean Shamrock Shake

Ingredients

  • 4-6 oz. Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze, depending on how thick you want your shake
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein Powder (Jay Robb is a great brand)
  • 1/4 of 1 Soft Avocado
  • Handful of Spinach
  • 1/2 Frozen Banana for sweetness and added texture
  • OR
  • Truvia/Stevia
  • Splash of Simply Organics Peppermint Flavoring
  • 3 Ice Cubes

Instructions

  1. Blend ingredients together until smooth. Enjoy 🙂
